Prometheus LTS 是经过选定的 Prometheus 版本，在更长的时间内接收错误修复。
每 6 周开始一个新的 Prometheus 次要版本周期。在这 6 周之后，次要版本通常不再接收错误修复。如果用户受到某个次要版本中 bug 的影响，他们通常需要升级到最新的 Prometheus 版本。
由于我们的 API 稳定性保证，升级 Prometheus 应该是很简单的。然而，新功能和增强也可能带来回归问题，需要再次升级。
Prometheus LTS 仅接收错误修复、安全修复和文档修复，但支持窗口为一年。构建工具链也将保持更新。这使得依赖 Prometheus 的公司能够在拥有社区维护的 Prometheus 服务器的同时，限制升级风险。
